Welcome to Chine Farm Caravan and Camping Park
2021 opening 12th April closing 1st September
The park is situated on the southwest side of the Isle of Wight at Cowleaze Chine, which is mid-way between Chale (3 miles) and Brighstone (2.5 miles) on the A3055 coast road - the Military Road.
The site is on grassland which is divided between 3 fields. The cliff field has no electric pitches and has sea views. The Middle field has 17 electric pitches and lots of non electric pitches, it also has two drinking water collection points, an Elsan point and general waste bins. The front field is adjacent to the road and is the largest of the fields it has 4 electric pitches and is ideal for large group bookings.
Our showers, toilets and washing up areas will remain closed in 2021 due to Covid-19. Customers are required to have their own toilet and washing facilities, Toilet waste and grey water waste must be collected and disposed of at the Elsan point. Customers will need to bring their own PPE (masks,gloves and hand sanitizer). Customers will only be accepted if they have their own toilet facilities. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times due to proximity of the cliff and the road. Please note that our play area has been removed.
The beach is a 5 minute walk from the site just follow the coastal footpath towards the east to Shepherds Chine, the beach is a mixture between sand and shingle and is a popular fishing spot.
We are about half a mile from the Dinosaur Farm Museum which was the HQ for BBC's "Live from Dinosaur Island" programmes.
The local village of Brighstone is approximately 2 miles away to the west and has a very well stocked shop for all your general needs and there is also a Newsagents. The Wight Mouse Inn at Chale serves food and drink and is only 3 miles to the east of our campsite.
Dogs are permitted, provided they are kept on a lead, cleaned up after and exercised away from the campsite.
